We focus mostly on the The lower three and a half miles of hat creek that comes out of power house 2 and flows into lake britton and this section of creek has been designated by the CDFW a "Wild Trout Waterway," with restrictive catch limits. This area has a similar geology to the chalk stream of southern England, and is considered a classic trout stream. The trout population is made of wild rainbows and brown trout ranging in sizes that can get up to 21’’ this is a great place to test your skills as it sets up for beginners to advanced anglers. Hat creek provides some amazing hatches through out the season.
